Easter Bunny is back: Family fun events in Naples, Marco return for first time since 2019
The Easter Bunny returns with activities planned throughout Southwest Florida.
While the pandemic canceled events beginning in 2020, many have returned and include arts and crafts, along with popular Easter egg hunts.
So for the first time since 2019, many of the traditional and fun Easter activities are back. Here's a list of events:
Ukrainian Easter Egg Decorating Hands-On Workshop: 1:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 14, at Golden Gate Branch of Collier Public Libraries, 2432 Lucerne Road. Learn the art of decorating Ukrainian Easter Eggs, called pysanka, an art form that dates back thousands of years and is surrounded by legend, ritual and cultural symbolism. Ages 13 to adult. PCSC second annual Eggstravaganza: From 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, April 17, at Paradise Coast Sports Complex, 3940 City Gate Blvd N., Naples. Kids of all ages can hunt for prizes in eggs, enjoy various bounce houses and inflatables, egg and placemat decorating, face-painting and more. EGGStravaganza Day-Camp: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, April 15, at Collier Girl Scout House, 601 Park St., Naples. Learn how to plant a garden, make a suncatcher and more. Registration is $35.00, which pays for the program fee, supplies and snack. Open to member and nonmember girls in grades pre-K through 12th grade. Marco Island Spring Jubilee and Easter Egg Hunt: 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 16, at Mackle Park, 1361 Andalusia Terrace, Marco Island. Egg hunt begins at 11:30 a.m. and will be split into age groups. Hunt is for children 10 and younger. Event also features games, crafts, food, live music, train rides, face painting and visits with the Easter Bunny. 239-642-0575

Estero EGGStravaganza: A fun-filled morning with an outdoor egg hunt, the Easter Bunny, a goodie bag and an arts-and-craft kit to take home. Bring a basket to collect the eggs and a camera for photos with the Easter Bunny. For ages 12 and younger. 8:30-11 a.m. Saturday, April 16. $5 per child. Registration required.
